Fake drive, don't buy
I bought this drive for my Tesla Model 3 to record videos, and it seems perfect for it, since it has both lighting and USB port, so that I can check the videos with my iphone. However, after I got the drive and checked and test it with my Mac, I found the capacity is obviously fishy. The drive capacity is 134.15GB! It is weirded, right? Have you ever seen this space capacity? Then I tested it by copy large size files to it, and found after over 20GB, the files just overwriting the previous files, and then all files are crashed. I realized this is the well known "Fake drive", it labels a fake capacity, but actual capacity is much smaller. it even changed the hardware information, so that in your PC or Mac, it still shows a large capacity, but it is fake. Really suspected those 5 stars reviews, I bet with $1 most of them are paid reviews. So conclusion is "DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP".

Works well, looks great, too
The storage space capacity is exceptional! The included instructions suggested I download an APP to access my files but I was able to go through this drive by using my phone's built-in File Explorer. The included addition of a handle makes this portable without worry. This is perfect for transferring files to your phone/tablet/PC/other devices very quickly. I just wish there was a change in the functioning of the USB port; the sliding part of the USB drive that allows you to go from micro/USB to lightning port does not click and lock in place, so there is a tendency for this to dislodge from my phone. If there was a sort of locking button or switch, this would be absolutely perfect.

Don’t lose your files
Don’t lose your files. I’m glad I checked before I started backing things up. This ended up being a 32gb stick not 128 like advertisedI couldn’t wait to get this to get my phone backed up! I was surprised how quickly everything transferred from my phone the the USB stick. While this is not a long term storage solution for my precious photos it has proven to be the quickest option to transfer them from my phone to my PC.The only downside is that it doesn’t fit with my OtterBox on. Otherwise this little guy is great for adding that extra storage that Apple wants you to pay an arm and a leg for

If you like wasting your time, this device is for YOU!
AWFUL! Not one thing worked right on this device. From the time I pulled it out of the packaging, it didn't work right. It took a CRAZY amount of time to download the information from my iPhone, and when I finally got it on the thumb drive, I couldn't access any of the information! For instance, I had over 2,000 photos I was trying to backup, and although it would reveal a thumbnail for each photo about every 10 minutes or so, I couldn't click on / view the individual photos (and I'm not using hyperbole here - it was extremely slow in everything it did!). Worst of all, after MULTIPLE attempts, the thumb drive would not let me delete the information I had downloaded to it. Therefore, rather than returning the drive with my personal information on it, I just threw it away. Not a financial disaster, but the workings of this device were. Total waste of money and a loss of an inordinate amount of time! ZERO STARS!

Device is good. App is not.
The device is pretty slick. Lightning, USB or micro USB all in one. However, the app for iPhone leaves a lot to be desired.I thought the device was faulty. It would stop the save at about a third of the total pics, hang up, then say it was disconnected. Contacted the seller who graciously replaced it. Get the new one in - same thing. The app has been translated from another language (not well) and is confusing and sometimes senseless. The problem is you can't save your photos from your iPhone without the app. I ended up downloading the photos from the cloud to my computer, then saving them to the drive via the USB connection which I can plug into my phone via the lightning connector. Nice but that's not what I was trying to do. I wanted to be able to save them directly to the drive from my phone. If they can fix the app and get someone who speaks English well to do the translations it would be a lot better. The device is fine. The app is a pain and not really helpful.

Lemon
The app was clumsy and confusing but I could still manage. After 3 weeks, the drive is no longer recognized by my iPhone or the i-flashdevice app. Whatever the case it is, the drive is useless. I will have to return it. What a lemon! Check out the app store for the reviews of this device "I-FlashDevice HD," you'll see a ton of customers like me. I should have checked it out first before I bought this thing. The drive is still recognized by windows like a regular usb drive. But I did not buy this drive for that. I bought it because it looks nice and sturdy with all metal construction, if it wasn't for the problem described above, it would probably be the best.

Little Protection
When it's not on the iPhone, one end will be exposed to damage. And like most companies, they don't design for Otter Box style cases. And, there are no great extension cords to access the lightning port without removing the case. The software is clunky. After the first try, I could not back up pics and videos to my Mac. I eventually had to wipe the phone and load a previous backup. It did work once. So, not a total bust.

Possibly a fake 128GB
The flash drive physically looks nice with metal construction. But it looks like this might be one of those reprogrammed/hacked cards/flash drives that give you a false storage capacity. When you plug into the computer, it will show you the total storage capacity that's close to what's advertised, but it's not. People buy these things, use them and not know that something is wrong until later discover corrupted or missing files. I copied a folder that contained over 90 GB of files and it appeared to have transferred successfully until I compared the total of photos and GB transferred. It was about 35GB. I checked the folders and most of them were empty. Where did the photos go? Strangely the drive letter in windows shows that a large portion of the drive is used, but when you right click on properties of the folder containing everything, there is a huge chunk missing. If possible, I can update this review if I get another one to test or try.
