Preferred the older style
I ordered this to replace a worn out favorite pair w a similar style that’s no longer being offered. Though I ordered the same size, the new pair is looser and has a narrow heel that rubs and chafes. I noticed the older shoe has a separate heel piece in the back which makes the heel wider. My photo shows the older style on the left. I’m disappointed.

Love them but they gave me an ankle blister.
These fit as expected, however the back sits high so after about 10 minutes of walking in these I had a cut in the back of my ankle. Super disappointed. I loved the style of shoe that these replaced, I owned four pairs. I’m hoping this was a and isolated incident with the one pair. In any case, I just ordered some padding for the back of the shoe so that I can wear them again. I do love the style they go with almost everything I wear.

Love these shoes.
I love these shoes. I use my shoe stretcher to break them in, specifically for the areas of my feet that might get irritated. After that, they are good to go. They are very comfortable. Some people complain that they get a blister in the back of their foot. When the shoe is broken in that’s not an issue. That’s why I use shoe stretcher. I also put a Dr. Scholl’s heel pad in the back to lift my foot up when I first wear them. It’s not necessary when the shoe is really broken in.

Ouch! A tad too tight
I had a pair of Grasshoppers before, and I don’t recall specifically ordering a 9 wide, but I guess I should’ve this time. The fit is so tight it hurts the top of my foot, and I had to get a bandaid for the back of my heel to stop the rubbing. Hopefully the more I wear them, the nicer they will feel. I loved the pair I had last year.

Buy from a store not online
I bought a similar pair of Grasshoppers at a local store in a navy blue color and I have had them about four years I think. They were so comfortable I decided to buy another pair in the store of a pale color (tan or beige) because I live in a warmer climate and the dark color tends to be hot in the summer. The design had been redone; they were not as attractive and did not fit as well even though the same size so eventually I just threw them away. Meanwhile I bought a slightly different style and they are ok, but not quite as comfortable due to the seam around the top of the back of the shoe. My first pair is worn out and did lose color, but they are still comfortable, so I ordered a new pair online. They look much like the first except tan but they were much smaller in size. Since my first size fits still, it means my foot has not changed but the shoe has. I returned them for the full amount.

Cute Looking, Very Snug at 1st b/c of Thick Pads, Back Ankle Blisters, 3 Week to Break in
The sneakers look exactly the same as appeared in the photos.1) they do come in snug as new, the reason being that the shoe pads are too THICK (though meant for enhanced comfort), and it leaves little space for the feet. But I replaced them with my old pads from a same sized pair of another brand, which significantly makes my feet more comfortable.2) The back of the shoe really does hurt a lot of your back ankle area, the material is really hard. The only way is to put on some band-aids. It roughly takes 3 weeks to break in the rough angle/edges if wearing them daily.Other than that, I am satisfied with the look and the fabric. but the manufacturer need to rethink /redesign the pads and the back area touching the ankle.

Extremely uncomfortable
I thought these would wear in but they’re extremely uncomfortable and cut into my heals. They don’t seem to fit the same as my store bought ones. Not sure if they’re genuine.

Narrow.... size up
So I used to swear by a different style of grasshoppers that is just a little bit different I had about 6 pairs through the years. They stopped making it and for whatever reason they are extremely tight and tear up my ankles. I would suggest definitely going wider and a 1/2 size up cu these were super narrow

For Narrow Feet - Size up!
I ordered these because I have ‘clog’ style running shoes in the same brand and find them very comfortable, and thought they would be cute for summer. I don’t have wide feet, but could barely get my foot into it and it was far too short. I find my other shoes so comfy, so if you have narrow feet I would recommend these If you size up.

Excellent quality, always.
Grasshopper shoes are always perfect. I wear mine as often as I can, until they fall apart. They are a very reliable shoe, comfortable and extremely well made

Tight at top
I love these because they look cute , BUT they gave me serious blisters on the top of my foot by my big toes ( both shoes ) I don’t have big or wide feet ... but these are definitely tight at the top of shoe .

Great shoe
A very well made shoe, but fits extremely small and narrow. I have a. Or all foot and had to order a wide width and a whole size larger. But if you can get the fit, it is worth the trouble.
