Perfect fit and the cable appeared to excellent quality. The cable arrived very quickly and installing it was a good excuse to clean under the plastic front wheel drive belt shield. Very pleased with this purchase.

Exact fit for my Craftsman front drive mower...so ez to install...does not come with cable ties, so you will need 4 black or clear ties, I used black.

Worked perfectly for my Craftsman 917.376460 lawnmower and identical to the original that broke after several years of service. As many have already said, this only takes a few minutes to do. Don't remove the old broken wire completely in advance since it helps to route the new one by following how the old one is routed.To remove old one: tip the lawnmower on its side, locate the black notched portion of the wire (after removing the belt cover), use needlenose pliers to compress it from underneath so that it can be pulled off from above. That's it. If you are having trouble, there are several videos on youtube that show how to.I noted that it helps to screw the piece with the 4 adjustable holes piece last, depending on how much slack you end up with. Doing it first caused me to redo it after I couldn't get it to reach the hole on the bottom.

This part worked great for my Craftsman mower model number 917-376480. Before ordering this part on Amazon, I first called Craftsman service center asking about the part. With shipping I would have paid more and when I asked what the part number was, they refused to tell me. After doing some research, I found a reference online (with Googles help) that said this might work. I'm happy that it worked correctly and it was easy to install. I do wish that there was some instructions sent with the part. I had to find a guy on YouTube installing it, because I was confused how the cable hooked up under the mower deck.

Purchased a drive cable for my lawn mower. Had it one month and five days and because its summer I was only on my second mow. It snapped. Obviously a defective part. Seller won't replace because of their 30 return policy. Boo.A waste of $24 hard earned dollars.Won't use them again.

Although the photo is not accurate, the product description is correct and it fit my mower correctly. Instead of the loop at the top of the cable as shown in the photo, the correct attachment for the self propel handle is on the end of the cable.
