Very bright
I bought one of those mp5 flashlights built into the handguard but didn't have any batteries. After I put rechargeable ones they instantly burned the bulb. These LEDs were a little tight fit but got into place with a push. Cant say how bright it was originally but definitely bright as I can see pretty far into a dark forest. Hopefully they last

Did not fit well, but it did work - sort of.
The product description said it fits SureFire 6P, G2,9P. The 2 pack I received, the replacement Bulb assemblies did sort of fit, but were too long to screw down the front lens retention cap. Adjusting the battery cap end did not help. The LED bulb did work, and is considerably brighter than the original. I was hoping to get some additional life out of my old 60 lum surefires, but I’m not comfortable carrying these lights with the front cap only 40% secured. These will be going back to Amazon.

Breathe new life into old tactical flashlights
I didn’t see the Streamlight Polytac specifically listed, but I figure it was worth a shot. I had a pair with old incandescent bulbs that weren’t being used because the output was so terrible.Instead of tossing these lights, I knew there were LED upgrades available. The ones that were offered by Streamlight we’re pretty pricey, so I never made the upgrade. Now that it’s been a few years, those upgrades aren’t even available, but these did pop up when I searched for an LED upgrade for these lights. It turns out that these are pretty awesome. I don’t know the candela specs, but they do hold their own with my modern lights.I highly recommend trying these out if you have an old tactical flashlight with sentimental value that you may want to resurrect.

Made my Surefire brighter for half the price
Worked just as described. Pull the large spring off, and the bulb dropped right in. Went from 65 lumens to 1200 for less than half the price. Not sure about battery life yet, (and these Surefire's burn through the batteries), but I know the old bulbs didn't last 50,000 hours.

Got here earlier than expected.
So far big improvement over old bulb, much brighter and cooler (temperature wise). Just need to see how durable and enduring it will be.

did not work in the 6p.
it was advertised as working in the surefire 6p but it did not. changed the batteries and tried everything and still a no go. not worth the money spent.

Fits Surefire
Great update and value for one of my old iSurefire lights. So far it's worked well and has lasted several months.

Very bright
I got this to upgrade an older LED retrofit I had bought many years ago for my Surefire Nitrolon G3, which had originally come with an incandescent bulb. That replacement was a considerable improvement on the tungsten original, and this is quite an improvement on that one, both brighter and whiter.I tried to get beamshots of both bulbs but the pics of the older LED were too blurred to post. The pic above shows the image at about 95'/30m. I did compare it with my (now-discontinued) Fenix UC40 UE, which has a maximum output of 950 lumens and this was almost identical, both in brightness, colour and dispersion, so the 1000 lumen claim is likely pretty accurate. The current G3 Nitrolon I believe has a 600L LED bulb so this would be quite a bit brighter.I cannot comment on durability or longevity but this is a light that doesn't get a lot of use (or abuse) so I expect it should hold up as well as its predecessor.
