BFXBSP120 Flat Packers Mixed (Bag 120) Shims

Perfect!! I've recently put up a new shed, and it needed trueing-up. These shims were ideal for slotting underneath by trial-and-error until the shed was 'square'. It was useful to have a selection of sizes in the bag, and they also stack together well.

These did the job I needed them for but be aware there are many small mould flashing that may need to be removed if you need accurate and flat thicknessing. Not a big issue but worth mentioning.

Very useful. I've used them in various situations. Strong but easy to cut. - AS well as temporary use, I've used a couple as permanent spacers, eg. when a blind was delivered slightly too small, I cut the white 3mm and used it between blind fixing and wall and it doesn't notice at all.

Good product. Nearly all burr free. A good quantity for a large deck project. Some doubling up towards the end. I don't do much DIY that involves shims so was happy to have a bag that gets used up as opposed to having loads left over sitting in the garage for years. Screwfix sell bags but in huge quantities.

How did I manage without these?
