LED Grow Light, MZVUL Greenhouse Lights for Plants 40W Full Spectrum Grow Light for Indoor Plants Seeding Veg and Flower Commercial Planting

These lights are very strong. I have been using t5 fluorescent bulbs for most of my plants, mainly succulents. Husband built a new plant shelf, so I decided to try these. After 2 weeks, succulents are changing colors and growing much more compact. These were a little too strong for my African violets (12” away/16 hrs on, I am trying them at 12 hrs on instead. This light is a bit heavy. Used four strips of double sided tape to mount and light fell on plants after a week. Now using a much stronger double sided Velcro and seems to be good. Very happy with these lights. I was worried they wouldn’t work or be good for my plants and, if anything, they’re too strong. After a few weeks, I’ve seen nothing but positive changes in all kinds of plants.

For a cheap LED I was expecting this item to not be strong enough to support seedling (orange tree, habanero, basil, ghost peppers and a Japanese maple bonsai) I placed the light in conjunction with another fixture and left em for the weekend. Surprisingly the leaves got rowdy tip burn. Now I just use it as the single light for my propitiator chamber. Just wish it had a few more blue than red as I am using it now for cuttings seedlings and clones

I use this light for a 30 gallon refugium. Works great and at a good price. Only issue I have with it is it plugs directly into an AC outlet rather than through a DC power supply. It could be a safety hazard if it gets wet.
