Warm, dry, and great grip.
I bought these for my trip to Iceland. I did silicone them and hiked 7 miles a day over rocky, icy terrain. The weather was snowy, rainy and windy. The shoes were great for the lava cave. The entrance was steep, icy and the cave was wet. These shoes held tight to the ground and I did not sllp or fall as many of the rest of our group did. We hiked thru deep snow and wet hot spring areas. I was the only person with dry, warm feet. I love these shoes. (PS I am way over the hill in age. This shoe is great for the over-the-hill gang)

Your search ends here!!
I had never heard of this brand, and came across them in my usual Keen, Columbia, and the like search. Thought I would give them a try. The fit is PERFECT! ! Nice support all around the foot. Nice room in the toebox for late in a hike when you need to accommodate slightly bigger feet. Lacing up is easy and stays. Purchased them before hiking the VA mountains and they were the best boots I've ever tried! Truly waterproof for the waterfall hikes. Toe and heal protection perfectly placed for the rock scramble hikes! NY husband got tiered of hearing me talk about them...so much that he's going to get a pair to replace his Ariat!

Comfortable and Waterproof!
I needed a waterproof, a TRULY waterproof hiking boot for my trip to Iceland. There were days we hiked in complete downpour , and my socks never got wet -- these are truly water proof and I'm so happy with my purchase. Not only that, but it was also very comfortable to wear and hike for hours -- and I didn't even have time to break it in. I ordered US size 7, although my usual size is 6.5 and it worked out perfectly. If you have thick socks or thick wool socks you may want to go up even higher. Definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a nice waterproof shoe that has great grip/tread marks for hiking.

Perfect for hiking!
I wore the boots for a week in Iceland. We went on beaches, snow, rain, streams and my feet stayed dry, felt solid, and they looked cute. I would definitely recommend!

Most comfy hiking boots I have tried, seem well made, cushy bottom
I LOVE THESE! SUPER COMFY! I have been trying on hiking boots for weeks and these are the first pair I actually like.1. The top is durable but soft and DOESN'T DIG INTO MY TOES (you don't how many boots do dig into toes)!. These really feel like they are already broken in and I have only worn them around the house.2. Top is mostly leather/suede with some breathable material as shown in picture. BOOTS ARE JUST LIKE PICTURE.3. The bottom inside has some sort of cool memory-foam type padding which *feels like I am walking on a cloud*.4. I have wide feet and these have plenty of room in the toe area.5. I normally wear 8W and ordered 8.5M and seems like a good size with room for thicker socks.6. Seems well made--but of course I haven't worn them a lot yet6. The tags attached to the boots are written in both Chinese and English and the boots are definitely made in China so judge that how you will.I don't plan on using these more than few weeks a year so I don't need the world's more durable boots. I think they are great for the price. I will update review once I have worn them more.,

Excellent Customer Service and Super Comfy Shoe
I received these shoes about a month ago and absolutely adore them! I use mine as barn work shoes because I'm on my feet all day and needed something that was sturdy enough to withstand walking long days on rough terrain. I have bunions and horrible feet which make finding comfortable shoes hard to find. The footbed is super comfy, and the included memory foam insoles keep my feet from aching too much. They may not be the most waterproof shoes but a lil waterproofing spray does the trick. To fit my feet the best I had to order a size up. I needed to wider footbed to accomadate my bunion. While being secure and roomy for my toes, I still had enough support for my ankles to not wobble around. After a while I did find I had some complications with my shoes. Things just weren't right anymore. I contacted Clorts directly and was able to email back and forth with a wonderful lady named Wendy about what was up with my shoes. After exchanging some pictures and only about 24hrs of contact she was able to send me a new pair. She was quick and responsive to my email and getting me a new pair. I look forward to getting me new pair and wearing them. Thank you Clorts and Wendy for making a headache turn into a pleasant experience.

Stylish Yet Rugged
First, listen to other reviewers and order up a size to a size and a half bigger than your normal size. I ordered 7.5 which I should be swimming in and they are a perfect fit. The yellow is a saffron yellow and the are really lightweight. They give ankle support and protection, and yes, they are actual leather. They are actually pretty, which doesn't usually matter to me when they will be covered in mud and going over rocky trails, but that's rare when coupled with rugged construction. I'm tempted to snap up several other pairs as well.

Snow, slush, puddles, and dry feet!
I bought these to get me through the Montana winter (October through April). Got to try them out for the first time today, as we got 5 inches of snow, which then started to melt and turn to slush. Purposely went through the massive puddles to see how the shoes would hold up, and they did great! The girls I was with were screaming about being cold and wet, and I was absolutely fine! Haven't tried them on ice yet, but they look like really good treads. I really appreciate the fact that the soles are so thick your feet are well above the water most of the time. That should help a lot. Very comfy, too, and I love the way they look! Looking forward to putting these through the paces this winter! :)

Lovely Boots, Shame About The Uncomfortable Interior Arches
These are lovely quality boots, although a tad heavy compared to the more modern lightweight walking boots and I Ioved the colour. Sadly there is quite a prominent arch support inside which makes them uncomfortable for my feet as they press up painfully into my arches as I walk. Would suit someone with high arches.I wish Sellers would take photos of the interior and state how high the arches are; it would make buying so much easier and create less returns.

Order a whole size up
I am usually a size 6 with wide feet so as per other reviews I ordered a size up. I felt sure a size 7 would be way too big but they fit perfectly with room for hiking socks. I tried them round the house and they seemed fine so I took the dog out for a walk with no problems. I have worn them for dog walking every day and haven’t had any pinching, blisters or discomfort. They’re great boots, very comfy but I will probably get a softer inner sole for my own preference. I usually walk round fields and lochs and my feet are dry and comfortable at the end of each walk.

These boots are amazingly comfortable throughout my trip to Iceland, through day to night excursions.
These boots are amazingly comfortable, I wore them throughout my trip to Iceland, through day to night excursions - a lot of walking in off the beaten track and did not cause any discomfort at all. Nice fleecy inner and good grip on the soles. I was a little concerned with the tracking of the delivery which was vague but they did arrive on time. Would definitely recommend:)

Lovely shoe, but runs large. Returning.
I am a true size 4 but after reading the reviews which said the shoe ran small, I ordered a size up. Unfortunately, size 5 is huge and looks like it's made for a giants foot. The front is super wide.Such a disappointment to return this fine looking hiking shoe.Overall a well constructed, sturdy looking shoe.If the seller does not charge me for returns shipping, I might order a size 4 once the returns are done.

Good boots for walking
Extremely comfortable from first wearing, looks smart and well made. I bought usual size ( after measuring my foot and comparing to chart as well) and would have enough room for thick socks, I put in a heel support as I have ankle problems and I needed more heel height still lots room. Would recommend

Disappointing
Nice looking boots, comfortable and lightweight. However after less than 3 months of wear there is a hole in the upper part of one of the boots! Clearly not fit for purpose and seller was not at all helpful when asked about return or refund. Not what I expected from these are they are not cheap!

Awesome for the price... please read.
These are an amazing boot overall. I did have some issues with it which you can read below. The title is a little misleading, these are not GTX they are a clorts own brand of a similar fabric called uneebTex (still water resistant). They're not as water repellent as Gore-Tex but they do fulfill the goals for the price. A note if you're going to purchase these boots make sure you put a protective coating on the suede. This will also help you seal in the waterproofness of the boot and make it easy to clean. I rated a four stars out of five because of what you get out of the boot for the price. They're very comfortable they fit well (definitely fit small I usually wear a EU 37-38 or US 7-7.5. But this was a EU 39 / 8.5 US). These Boots are definitely durable, I would not wear them around any sharp rocks though. I took them past their limits just to see what they were capable of since I have never heard of the company. ***Sharp rocks will destroy these boots*** But on the other note These Boots are perfect for backpacking, rough terrain and trails. (not mountaineering or scrambling). The waterproofness is medium, after a while duringcleaning the boots I noticed that water started to penetrate through the waterproof fabric this might be because the stitching gave way in two places (because of sharp rocks). But they clean up well. They looked brand new after brushing them off and rinsing with water. I would totally recommend buying these boots if you want to go camping or hiking, hitting the trails or even to wear around the streets. I would not recommend these boots for work or any aggressive Terrain. The photos attached to this review show the boot after an aggressive hike where they are super dirty. One photo shows how clean you can get them after and then the other photos show what sharp rocks will do to this boot.

Super soft and comfy from first day worn
A very nice mid-weight boot that was flexible and comfy enough to wear without "breaking in".

NOT waterproof by any means.
I’m disappointed in these boots for two reasons: they are not waterproof at all (more on that in a minute) and the lack of arch support. The sizing is close to being accurate. I wear size 4.5-5UK (7 Canadian/US) women’s normally so after reading that in 2018 they changed their sizing to be more accurate, I went for the 4.5UK(7US) and they went on perfectly. The fit was fantastic out of the box; however, after 6 hours of hiking, they seemed to grow a tad.I went for a 6 hour trail hike, a well used, and in some places cemented, path. It was raining but the kind that seems a constant heavy drizzle. I walked through some grassy areas in the hike and when I got home the toes and tops of the boots were soaked right through to my socks. This was the first outting in them in wet grass. That in no way shape or form equals waterproof. Not even water resistant. Please do not buy these boots if you’re looking for waterproofing. Go for actually tested GTX boots. I’m from Scotland and planned on returning to Scotland and using these boots for highland hikes. That’s not going to happen and I’ll have to buy a whole other pair of boots because these are used now, I can’t return them. There is zero arch support. I’ve worn Merrells for 10 hour hikes and my feet never feel like cement blocks at the end of those hikes. So, on top of them not being waterproof, they also have zero arch support and your feet will feel fatigued for days. Get insoles for sure.It took two days for the boots to dry. Real head scratcher for so called waterproof boots.I’m am so tired of wasting hard earned money on products falsely advertised. My philosophy has always been to buy quality products on the high end because they last for ever (well, nearly! I bought these to replace a pair I’ve had for 25 years. Yay, Merrell, sorry I strayed.) after reading the reviews of these and mostly going on the products own claims on their website, I decided to try these. What a mistake. Buying lower end always results in spending more money.I’m giving three stars because they are very lightweight, need zero breaking in time, fit pretty great (with an arch supporting insole the fit will be much better) and they seem sturdy.Buyer beware.

very comfortable lots of ankle support.
So I honestly have nothing bad to say about these shoes. so I usually take a size 9 so that’s what I ordered but upon trying them they are just a bit big no big deal They will fit great with a pair of socks any who they are very comfortable and lots of ankle support which I enjoy a lot being a dancer and have bin walking in them ever since I got them and are very water proof last week I fell in the river with my converse sneakers on and had to go all weekend with water logged shoe THESE ARE GREAT AND WATER RESISTANT went for wheeling and walking in the woods and feet stayed dry. Thank you Clorts.
