It's hilarious. I actually bought it for a White Elephant Exchange, so I'm excited to see who gets it. I'm going to keep the red side down of course, and then they'll get a surprise when they flip the sequins the other way. One thing that I was a bit sad about is that the sequins aren't colored all the way around, so there is some white space on the sequins. It doesn't seem to be creating much of a problem, but I'd imagine that over time some of them will rotate and that the picture won't be quite so clear. Having said that, it's pretty darn affordable and I think it's more of a novelty item, so quality isn't super important. I love it for what it is, and my boyfriend took pictures of it to send to his friends because he got such a kick out of it. If you need a little Nicolas Cage in your life, look no further.

Bought this as a sensory item for my 6 1/2 yr old Grandson. He really liked it & it seems to be holding up very well. He doesn't sleep with it or anything like that but he does play with it & move the sequins around into different pictures. It does help him to calm down when he uses it. I'm glad I bought it.Hope this review helps you to make an Informed choice. I depend on reviews when purchasing items so I try to help by writing my honest opinions on things I buy.

Be sure to read the description....these are only pillow cases no inserts! But they are fantastic pillow cases! I thought this would be a wonderful addition to the comforter set this matches. We received it separately. It seemed small (but probably the size was as listed). The colors were bright and matched the comforter set for which I rated it two stars. The problem was that the sequins weren't sewn properly and you couldn't turn them over all the way when you rubbed your hand over it. I've bought girl's tops from The Children's Place that had this type thing on it and one from Walmart for much less money. This one is like the one from Walmart. Cheap. If that's what you are looking for and don't care about the way the sequins are sewn or no one will be trying to change the color on the pillowcase then it is probably OK for the money. If you are planning to purchase this for a child that would be changing the color back and forth then I wouldn't recommend it. I definitely returned this one.

This was part of a gift for my daughter’s 12th birthday, and she’s had it for 2 months now. Basic info- it’s not double sided, the colors would most accurately be described as a turquoise that’s more blue than green & the flip side is a bright pink (not neon or hot pink!) with a light purple sheen.She’s using it for decoration, so I’m not sure how it’d hold up to daily use, but she & her friends mess with it a lot and it’s still in perfect condition! The sequins flip easily, the construction seems sturdy!

I purchased this for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. SO far it has withheld alot of mishandling and has stood up to the test. The details are neatly done and the zipper is perfectly concealed.

Exactly what I wanted. No one can resist playing with these pillows, ever. Even my husbands friends, with their giant man hands, must play with the pink pillows lol. The zippers are not great but since they won't be used often that's not a deal breaker. I did not read the description well enough when I purchased so I didn't realize they were only cases, luckily I had spare pillows.

We've bought about a half dozen of these covers by now, a cozier alternative to a fidget spinner, and a great gift item for anyone. (Even macho boys like 'em if you get their team's colors.) My 7yo sleeps with the pillow and a 2yo dog, so its durability has been tested plenty, not shedding any sequins. The reverse is soft (velour?). The variety of colors is fantastic. The zippers have all been fine.
