This works great from eight months to 18 months, then he outgrew the neck by 1 inch.I did not use this as a no pull Vesse, it really isn’t sturdy enough for that. But as a dog trainer, I didn’t want it for that, I wanted it to announce to the world that he was in training to be a service animal. That way I could bring him in to stores, And restaurants. and restaurants.He is almost finished with this training and will be labeled a service animal in another six months. In the meantime I have to go to a different brand harness.I like this one because it went across his chest it wouldn’t slip or move.I also like to attach the D ring on the back to his seatbelt in the car.If his neck was smaller, I would buy this again.

I have only used this on my pup three times thus far but wow what a difference it makes when it comes to keeping my pup focused on training. It repels most people (and their kids!) from approaching or making any sort of contact with my dog and this helps reduce distractions for him. This vest seems to train others (including myself) besides my dog in regards to keeping space between their dogmas my dog that are unknown to each other.The vest I got for my pup is small and is adjusted to its smallest fitting leaving enough space for him to grow into. He is about 15 inches in height and weights 13.5 lbs.My pup only wears this to train not to play or rough house in so I am hoping it will last a good while. It is "over the head" to get on but there is plenty of room that my pup is not freighten to put it on.There is a loop on the back and also on the chest.It is a good looking vest and has become very handy in training my rambunctious terroir pup.

The largest size did not fit my 70 pound very chesty pitbull.

I LOVE this product! We have a newly adopted Plott Hound and she is a bit intimidating to some. She has a big bark and unique coloring and has some anxiety while approaching other dogs. With this harness people have been much more accommodating in their reactions to her behavior as we work with her in public since the harness makes the message clear that she is in the midst of a learning process. It has also deterred people from barreling right up to pet her without asking which has made it much easier on us as owners to be able to introduce her to people slowly. I don't clip a leash to this harness so I can't attest to it's performance in that area, but my dog has been able to wear this for 5-mile walks with no chafing or overheating. Solid purchase!

I have a 35 pound blue heeler and this fit her PERFECT! I love it so much, especially that it has a ring on the front and one on the back. It's very comfortable on her and fits her neck with no gapping. I bought this to avoid people coming up to her in public to pet her without warning because she would growl at people who approached her quickly or who she just plain didn't like the look of (lol). Plus, it just looks really cool to have her harness basically tell people that she's working and to leave her alone. I just adopted her and She is very skittish and unsure of people and other dogs. This will be perfect for when I take her on our long walks. It is even comfortable enough for her to sleep in.

This harness seems to be well enough made and it does serve its purpose. The one problem we have with it is that although the band that goes around the dog’s chest is adjustable and can be made to fit many size dogs, the collar that goes around the dog’s neck is not. For a dog with a fairly large head in proportion to the rest of his/her body, the usefulness of the harness will be short lived as your puppy grows. You won’t be able to get the collar over the dog’s headThis is a design shortcoming that should be corrected.

My pup is a Service Dog in Training and I constantly have problems when doing socialization exercises with random children running up to pet with parents not pausing to disallow. With this harness they give pause and ask questions and stop their children from running up. The harness doesn’t pull fur, is lightweight and easy to wash (I have a puddle jumper). I use a gentle leader so neither the front or back ring have been used on walks yet but when I inspected on arrival they stood up to tugging while on he long lead in the yard

I'm giving this harness three stars because the neck is not adjustable. It slips over the head leaving no room for growth. I bought the small for my puppy as he is in training. It fits well right now and is comfortable, but it will not work for him in another month or two as the neck is one piece without any adjustment. The material is durable and if you are buying this for a full grown dog, it will work well for you. Thank you.

My 2 year old greyhound recently retired from the race track and is extremely nervous. She is so terrified, in fact, that it can be difficult to get her attention at times. This harness means that people give us patience and space, more so than when she is not wearing it, and it means I can focus on her training as she gets used to a world outside the kennels. I use a waist strap and bungee lead attached to the harness in conjunction with a martingale collar and lead and this is a great combination as at 30kg and still with her racing muscles, she is a strong girl when she bolts and I am comfortable knowing that I have her safe and that she will not suffer neck damage when spooked.

This is the 4th front ring harness I have tried. This one is OK for the money.. BUT..My Little Yorky is very slim , so although it fits over her head, (Just.. when the lead is attached and I try to turn her (as shown by trainer.) the whole thing slides round. So frustrating, And I can't send it back as it was on card, attached by plastic strips. MORE MONEY WASTED!!!

I ordered a LARGE for a young Newfie pup, sadly what arrived was so small it wasn't even large enough for my friends pug! I have to say that I was incredibly disappointed at the size since it was a very attractive harness & looked ideal. I have no doubt if it had fitted I could have awarded it 4 or 5 stars but since it is not fit for the purpose it was bought for I can only rate 1 star.Since all the product packaging also stated LARGE I can only presume the product has very tiny size guide rather than my first thoughts that's they had mistakenly sent me the wrong harness.

The idea behind this harness is great, but the quality of the harness is poor. It is very lightweight, the vest part being made of fabric only, with no reinforcement. The strap that goes around the chest is a bit more solid, but still not very thick, compared to another harness that I've purchased from a discount store for a third of the price of this harness. But the dog looked incredibly cute in it!Unfortunately after 2 uses it developed a tear in the fabric on the top part of the harness and was promptly returned. It's a shame that this didn't last long at all - but the fault here is in the design. If the fabric would be sturdier this might work, but as things are, don't buy this if you expect to use it longer than a week.

I really love this product!! It fit perfectly, it doesn't bother my golden retriever at all, and it is clearly labeled so, no matter in what position the dog is, is always visible the word "training".I used this for a month now, and I cannot find any problem with it.. so, very well pleased!I bought this for my assistance dog in training, and it really work well for the job.
