Works great, easy to install.
Used this for a solar panel install on my camper. Worked great. I like the channel on the bottom that gets filled with sealant so there's no worry about leaks. It's a sturdy good looking unit that should last a long time.

Awesome bit of plastic!
Awesome bit of plastic! I wasn’t sure on what size glands I would need for the cables I was running but it didn’t really matter as they provide two sets of glands 3-6 and 6-12. It was the only product I found which comes with two sets of glands at the same price. Pretty happy with the quality and installed it with no issues.

Nice
Mine came with a mini multi tool promotional gift. Very cool! Good quality. I glued mine to my roof using 3m 5200. Works like a charm

Good weatherproof cable escutcheon
I chuckle a bit when things I grew up learning the names of get dumbed down to banality. “clamshell” “cable cap” “gland”Regardless- this appears to be an excellent wire escutcheon for through-hull applications in campers, boats, and various other bulkheads. I bought partly because I wanted a non-conductive throughhull for inverter cables in an aluminum sheathed camper. But alas, I should have read more closely before ordering because 2/0 cables are over 1/2” diameter and this well made product is designed for 12mm maximum cables. I didn’t measure but I’m guessing 2/0 is ~14mmI noticed some pics of the product installed horizontally- thought I’d mention that a better long-term installation would be to have the compression bulkhead connectors facing /down/ with a drip loop in the cables rather than sideways. Nevertheless, the bulkhead gasket and rubber compression rings are probably more than adequate even if horizontal.

Light and easy with seals for multiple sizes of wire.
I ordered this one for the good price and that I didn't have to worry what size wire I might end up using. It seems well built and time will tell if it holds the seal around the connections.

Does not leak!
Secured to the roof with VHB tape and Dicore around the perimeter. I'm very happy with the entry gland.(Picture was taken before Dicore was applied)
