Dean Markley 2552 Blue Steel LT Electric Guitar Strings 4-Pack (0.009-.042) Includes Guitar Picks

After 50 some odd years of playing guitar and "xperimenting" with almost every string brand make and model....the "Blue Steels" are the best string I have come across. They resist corrosion, no so called string stretch, the windings do not break after excessive bending. I use them on all 9 guitars I have. both acoustic and electric.

This are great strings and the price was very reasonable. They arrived promptly, but the packaging was kind of shoddy and was partially open by the time it reached my home. The strings which are individually packaged were fine. The guitar picks that were supposed to be included in the deal were nowhere to be found, perhaps they fell out in transit. None of this, in my opinion is a deal-breaker, so with a couple of caveats, I' satisfied.

I like Dean Markley Blue Steel LT's because they give a great mellow tone on my 61 Epi with soap boxes, regular 10-52 give too much dirt for my liking as I am a classic rock kind of guy. I have used other companies strings, but Blue Steel keep their tone with longevity; on my Telecaster I get the bright tones in a traditional telecaster guitar.

Didn't seem to last long in terms of their brightness or tonality. When I took them off they were in a weird twisted sort of shape... I've never seen a string do that in 30 years of playing... Didn't work for me.

I love these strings. They sound and feel as if they've been on your guitar for a week, which for me was always the point where the annoying brightness and tight feel of new strings would finally wear off. The liquid nitrogen process they use is not a gimmick; it really does make a difference. And they last for a very long time, keeping their warm tone and ability to stay in tune. I've used all of the major brands, and these really are just the best.

Good strings! They're not Elixirs, but they're my second favorite! Just be sure you didn't try to get them for an acoustic lol

Did not come with the pick sampler pack. Strings are fine.

Ive been using Dean markleys for a long time. They never dissapoint. The packaged deal is a great buy. Highly Recommended
