Ikshvaku Sandalwood Incense Cones - One Boxes

As I stated previously, the cone only burns outer edge, either in my holder or on open surface. The middle of the cone is not burning at all. Only burns for about 60 seconds. Folk save your money on this product. The sellers justbtold me "no" basically I am wrong. So no help from seller. See my previous post.

I am a longtime aficionado of incense, I never got over the sixties. I burn incense every morning. Although I find Japanese incense to be of the highest quality, I tried these cones for a burner I recently purchased while in Japan. If you are going to buy India-made incense, I recommend this brand. The fragrance is light and not overly perfumed as with other cones available on Amazon-I wouldn't call it pure Sandalwood (hence 4 stars)-but it is pleasant. The smoke is light grey, not black (again typical of other India-made cone incense available on Amazon. Finally, they burn consistently, do not need to be re-lighted and the burn time is about 10 minutes.

Im new to burning incense so i dont know what sandalwood is supposed to smell like. I do love the smell of these.Effective burn time is about 15 minutes. The base will smolder to about 20 minutes but very little smoke permeates after 15 minutes.I like them enough that I'd buy again.I didnt have any crumble yet, dropped one on the carpet, I have used all but 5 now.They dont stand perfectly straight but I only had one so far that didnt stand upright on its own.Compared to other incense packs $10 seems a bit high for 25 of these. I might try some other brands first.

I am not from India or knowledgeable about Indian incense, so my review is not from that perspective. I liked sandalwood incense from China and Japan. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to try it. This one has a lot stronger than the Chinese and Japanese incense I have tried before. The strength of this smell surprised me but I liked it. It is warm and nice. The only downside was that it created a lot of smoke. I was worried that my smoke detector would start beeping. Some reviews said that they would burn slower they were be placed in an incense burner, which might create less smoke. So I might try it that way.

Everything as advertised

The cones are huge but they have the most amazing sandlewood scent. Having try about 6 different brand and supplier, these sandlewood cones are by far have the best scent. It's very pleasing and relaxing. The balance is perfect. I found some to be a bit more like just burning wood and other to be too perfumy. I think I will be buying these going forward.

Long burning beautifully formed cones thst each burn over 40 minutes, the smell is not very sweet and gets a lityle smokey when down toward the base where the cones are thick. I dont smell as much sandalwood smell as some other brands...but i will say that the besuty of the packing and quality of the box moves them up a notch, and the next day smell of room was nicer than first day when it was burning. So the lingering asoect is a 5, the packing is a 5 and yhe too much smoke at base is a 4.

I have ordered 3 boxes total of this incense and I absolutely love it. However, I think one of the boxes I received is faulty because the most of incense I have tried to burn from this one particular box just won't stay lit and that is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I will order more boxes for the time being because I like how this stuff smells that much. I'm hoping I won't get another bum box.
