VIMVIP 3.5mm Female to Dual 3.5 Male Mic & Stereo Audio Y Splitter Cable Cord for PC Laptop

These work great. I read complaints that the audo with other splitter cables had a problem with being backwards. I read no complaints about this one having the same issue so thought I would give it a shot. I can confirm that the ones I received work great and the audio is not in any way backwards.Something I should mention, however, is that these DID NOT include the lanyard as pictured. Not really that big of a deal, though. It was still worth it for the price.

It is working quite nicely. I bought this to use my Microsoft Xbox Headset with my desktop and know me and Cortana carry on conversation together late into the night.People keep complaining that this doesn't work with their Apple headphones and they are right. Apple has a special chip that only allows the mic to work with their "certified" devices. I don't subscribe to Apple's hardware subscription plans.

I bought a male to male audio cable, female to male audio cable, and a female to dual mic & stereo cable.They all work fantastically. Meant to replace one that broke. However, I cannot use the mic function on the female to dual mic & stereo cable when plugged into one of the other cords. The sound works fine, but the mic just doesn't work (got it primarily so I could use my Razer headset, which has a mic). When I plugged my headset into the female to dual directly the mic and sound worked fine.So, if you plan on just getting anything I just listed specifically for audio, then you're golden. If you are getting the dual & mic stereo cable solely for a headset, then you're fine. However, the mic will not work with one of the other cables attached.

i bought this a while back, got two in the package. that was lucky too because one of them didnt work at all, although the second one works fine, but i'm kinda scared it will break soon.

Does not work with iPhone compatible headsets - not Apple's own and not any others such as any of the Bose QC series with microphones. The problem is that the mic won't work because the signal and ground are reversed. This is wired to the OMTP standard. For Apple compatible headsets with mics, the CITA standard is required. This should be prominently shown in the product listing.The phone chain/leash thing didn't come with the product as advertised. Not that I care as I wouldn't have used it, but it is false advertising to promote a "free gift" that doesn't actually exist.

This adapter has been working quite well since I got it. Like other reviewers have said, it doesn't reverse the audio, and actually does the job. Now I can use my nice headphones as a PC headset instead of dropping more on a "gaming" one. Also, do be warned that putting your 3.55 male end into the female of the adapter is a bit of a struggle, but after I got it in I've not had any issues.

The 1st one of these i bought worked perfectly. The next 2 purchases were garbage. The 3.5mm female doesn't make a solid connection when you plug it in. You have to squeeze down on the connection for it to get the signal, as soon as you stop squeezing, the audio signal is just static.

It works. Been using it for some time now and no issue. I don't notice any sound or microphone imperfections by using this device. Just plug n go. Works great
